How this all came about
Having spent his early working life with the Royal Marines and after a spell selling boats in Hong Kong, Digby finally settled on opening a Chocolate shop in Norfolk! During his time abroad he met Harald, a Norwegian Marine Engineer with an incredible personality and love for life. Now, some twenty five years on we have renamed our Cromer Chocolate shop in his memory. We pride ourselves on offering a fabulous range of tantalizing delights from our very high quality Belgian and English chocolates to the superb liquorice treats from Finland, Belgium, Holland and Italy plus everything delicious in between. All carefully packaged in our own imaginative and unique way, we pride ourselves on being a little different. We are considerate of dietary needs and provide Gluten, Vegan and Dairy Free options throughout our shop. However, we would not be where we are today if it were not for our lovely hardworking girls, Rebecca, Hannah, Ellen, Juliet and Yaz. Together our dedicated team are always on hand to give great customer service and advice. They know the chocolates inside out, because "if we don't taste, we can't tell!".
Situated a stones throw from the iconic Cromer pier, we have created an Aladdins cave of gourmet chocolates and confectionery. During warmer months we sell award winning real dairy ice cream from Criterion Ices and for winter we turn to delicious Belgian hot chocolate freshly made to take away.
